The theses reveal the phenomenon of internal communications as a system-forming factor in ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of national security sector entities. It is substantiated that internal communications perform not only informational, but also cognitive-coordination, value-integrative, and security functions. Key risks of disorganization of communication processes in the context of hybrid threats are identified and directions for their optimization are proposed.
