The article examines the transformation of Greek mythology in the context of contemporary tattoo art, which emerges as a form of living visual philosophy. Tattoo art is presented here at the intersection of aesthetics, personal identity, and cultural heritage, where classical archetypes are reinterpreted through the prism of individual stories and postmodern sentiments. Utilizing concepts of embodiment, mythopoesis, and authorship in artistic expression, the authors argue that mythological tattooing is simultaneously a form of creative interpretation and an act of cultural memory, endowing the human body with philosophical significance. In modern society, interest in traditional symbols and mythological motifs is steadily growing, with significant attention given to images of Greek gods. These symbols carry echoes of centuries-old history. Greek mythology exerts a substantial cultural influence, and its characters are becoming increasingly popular in contemporary tattoo art. The modern interest in Greek mythology does not simply signify a return to antiquity but rather a reimagining of it through a postmodern lens.
