157 • A direct measure of Cognitive Reserve improves interpretation of neuropsychological results of first- year University students Conclusions. Ukrainian HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM at cognitive warfare with its new insights, challenges and perspectives remains in a relative weak state of theory and methodological rigor of training psychologists under distant education, we believe. Alongside with this, we concluded that the lack of psychologists in this country, stimulates the youth to enter the higher educational institutions, namely psychology departments. Evaluating development results in our long-term research on cognitive warfare and its impact on students’ cognitive functions, academic performance, it was emphasized the role of individual neuro-psychology approach to the student while processing scientific psychology information by left-handed, right-handed, ambidexters profiles, as a new insight to defining neuro-psychological readiness of a student for counteracting stress and environmental threats in extreme and crisis situations of well-being. The study results allowed us to uncover a significant contribution of Cognitive Reserve in building up an individual’s psychological readiness to counteract psychological (manipulation of one’s consciousness), environmental threats in extreme and crisis situations. Future Resaerch. Given the above context, more studies are needed to broaden the research base and make sure psychological interventions are culturally sensitive, meeting each student’s specific needs and aligning with their national identity, individual psychological characteristics of stress, panic, irrational speculations, stress reserves are extremely needed to counteract threats and bring up the future intellectual elite of the country.
