The article analyzes the development and dynamics of Russian information operations in Germany since 2022. It focuses on the transformation of narrative strategies as well as the use of modern digital technologies, particularly generative language models and deepfakes. The study demonstrates how campaigns such as ―Doppelgänger,‖ through the imitation of established media outlets, aim to intensify social tensions and promote ―war fatigue‖ within the German public. The analysis underscores the growing importance of democratic resilience and the concept of a ―militant democracy‖ (wehrhafte Demokratie) as key responses to hybrid threats.
