The paper presents an analysis of the optical properties of CdTe thin films using the PRISA software. CdTe films on glass substrates were deposited by vacuum thermal evaporation with the source temperature set to 800 K. Analysis of the measured optical transmittance spectra in PRISA allowed us to obtain the optical properties of the film, and comparison of the film thickness with the values measured by a profilometer indicates the consistency of the results, confirming the prospects of using this software environment for analyzing thin films for photovoltaic applications.
