The research analyzes how energy infrastructure disruptions affect claims dynamics, underwriting practices, actuarial modeling and the operational continuity of insurers, leading to increased loss volatility and heightened exposure to correlated risks. Particular attention is devoted to the classification of blackout-related risks (underwriting, financial, operational, strategic and systemic) and to the adaptive mechanisms implemented by insurers to strengthen financial resilience under conditions of prolonged infrastructure instability.
