This article examines current trends in energy system transformation toward decentralization and integration of renewable energy sources. Emphasis is placed on the role of rooftop photovoltaic systems as an effective tool for enhancing energy autonomy and local grid resilience. The specifics of implementing such systems in times of crisis, particularly in the context of damage to centralized infrastructure, are considered. The paper analyzes the potential of using satellite data to assess the technical performance of rooftop solar panels, enabling more accurate planning of decentralized generation development. The application of digital technologies, specifically Edge Artificial Intelligence (Edge AI), is proposed to optimize the management of distributed energy sources and ensure the flexibility of energy systems. Particular attention is devoted to the concept of Collaborative Edge Artificial Intelligence (CEAI), which enables knowledge sharing and collaborative learning
