67 Theoretical Interpretation. Contemporary diaspora studies view the Armenian diaspora in Ukraine as one of the actors of early urban modernization. Through trade networks, craft specialization, and financial practices, Armenian communities contributed to the circulation of capital, the development of institutional forms of economy, and the integration of Ukrainian cities into transregional economic spaces [6; 9]. This approach makes it possible to move beyond local history and to consider the Ukrainian case as part of broader European processes of the development of multiethnic cities. Conclusion. The historiographical and source-based analysis demonstrates that the Armenian diaspora played a significant role in the economic development of Ukrainian cities, substantially exceeding its demographic weight. Armenian merchants, craftsmen, and entrepreneurs contributed to the development of international trade, craft production, and financial practices. Considering the Armenian diaspora as an economic actor allows for a deeper understanding of the history of Ukrainian cities and integrates this material into the contemporary scholarly discourse of diaspora and urban studies.
