Keywords :sport, chess, сhess openings, FIDE, chess platforms. Chess was invented in India, where it was known as ―chaturanga‖ until the end of the 6th century CE. This game is considered the ancestor of chess. Since then, it has changed many names, forms and rules. An interesting fact is that the first folding chessboard was invented by a priest in 1125 to hide his game from the church ban on gambling by making it look like the spines of books on a shelf [3]. Chess took on its modern form in 1475, when the rules were changed: the queen was allowed to move any number of squares, and the bishop was allowed to move diagonally instead of jumping. These changes sped up the game, and the ability of a
