Exploring challenges to achieving functional equivalence, the paper outlines the practical application of calquing, transliteration, descriptive translation, and other translation strategies and methods. The research findings emphasize that accurate interpretation of acronyms is crucial for maintaining the clarity and integrity of scientific and technical discourse.
