However, in modern realities, there is still a lack of empirical and analytical research on the modernization of the institutional support of the public administration system in the field of international information policy of Ukraine. Research objective. In order to obtain empirical and theoretical results, in September-November 2025, we conducted a formalized expert online survey by evaluation on the topic: ―Modernization of the doctrinal and institutional foundations of Ukraine's international information policy ‖ . Presentation of the main material. At the time of summing up, more than 50 experts - doctors and candidates of various fields of social sciences and civil servants - participated in the mentioned study. The conducted study made it possible to make certain generalizations and systematize the main approaches to the institutional support of the international information policy of Ukraine. One of the main tasks of the expert assessment was to diagnose the current state of Ukraine's international information policy (IIP) and the system of public administration in this area. According to its results, only 20% of experts gave a positive assessment of the current state of Ukraine's MIP. Significantly more experts (36%) defined it as unsatisfactory. The expert assessment of the contribution of the President of Ukraine also turned out to be quite contradictory . On the one hand, the majority (46%) of experts recognized the high contribution of the President of Ukraine, on the other hand, more than a third of experts (40%) assessed it as rather mediocre. Only 14% of experts gave a more or less positive assessment of the contribution of the National Security and Defense Council. On the other hand, the vast majority (42%) of experts consider the contribution of the NSDC to the MIP of Ukraine to be mediocre, and, in general, 44% consider it to be unsatisfactory. In accordance with the constitutional powers of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Ukraine, which is guided by his instructions, also received mixed reviews from experts.
