Despite the extensive experience and development of surgical interventions, resuscitation support, the effectiveness and safety of surgical treatment of exudative post-traumatic pericarditis (РТР) after combat trauma are unsatisfactory. In our opinion, it is precisely the improvement of diagnostic methods and surgical treatment of this severe category of wounded and injured with exudative post- traumatic pericarditis after combat trauma that will allow to increase the survival rate of patients, reduce the number of complications and relapses, accelerate the process of recovery and restoration of working capacity. That is why this work analyzes traditional and minimally invasive interventions in the treatment of post-traumatic exudative pericarditis, their capabilities, effectiveness and results that were obtained.
