108 The aim of the work was іmproving the effectiveness of surgical treatment of wounded and injured with exudative post-traumatic pericarditis as a complication of combat chest trauma by developing and applying new methods of surgical tactics. Currently, in Ukraine, it is believed that an important unresolved issue of wartime regarding the surgical treatment of exudative post-traumatic pericarditis (EPTP) is the definition of clear diagnostic and treatment tactics in providing effective care to the wounded and injured with exudative post-traumatic pericarditis on the background of combat trauma [1, p. 260]. Despite extensive experience and development of surgical interventions, intensive care support, and hospital equipment, the effectiveness and safety of surgical treatment are unsatisfactory [2, p. 135]. One of the problems is the lack of a differential approach to the choice of tactics and the volume of surgical interventions, taking into account concomitant diseases and the patient's condition [3, p. 259]. In our opinion, it is precisely the improvement of diagnostic methods and surgical treatment of this category of patients that will allow to increase the survival rate of patients, reduce the number of complications and relapses, accelerate the process of recovery and restoration of working capacity. That is why this work analyzes traditional and minimally invasive interventions in the treatment of post- traumatic exudative pericarditis, their capabilities, effectiveness and results that were obtained [4, p. 377; 5, p. 27]. The study, which was conducted at the State Institution "V.T. Zaitsev Institute of Internal Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" and the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which are clinical bases of Kharkiv National Medical University, presents the results of treatment in 96 wounded and injured with exudative posttraumatic pericarditis in combat trauma. The average age of male victims is 51.4±1.52 years, and female victims is 55.3±1.49 years. All wounded and injured patients underwent surgical interventions, with one patient undergoing reoperation due to recurrence of PTP 3 years after the first intervention.
