Background. The prolonged martial law in the country leads to an increase in anxiety-phobic disorders among the population. The highest percentage of people affected by this neurotic disorder is observed in children, pregnant women, and postpartum women. Conditions of uncertainty, constant threat, and psychological stress have a negative impact on the psycho-emotional sphere of women in the perinatal period, which creates an additional need for maternity hospital nurses to provide comprehensive support to expectant mothers. Anxiety- phobic disorders in patients that arise against the background of wartime require midwives to have an appropriate understanding of the psychological problems of women in the perinatal period and a properly selected behavioral model that will help women feel safe, confident, and reduce stress levels against the background of war and pregnancy. Aim. Analysis the specific aspects of psychosocial interaction between midwives and women with anxiety-phobic disorders in the perinatal period in war conditions and to apply current strategies for patient-medical worker interaction. Materials and Methods. The methods of analyzing PubMed and Medline sources, scientific literature, a review of Scopus, Google Scholar, and Web of Science sources were used. The Spielberger-Khanin State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) questionnaire was used via the Google Forms platform. The questionnaire
