86 teachers to adapt instructional strategies beyond standard English as a Foreign Language methodologies traditionally designed for Czech native speakers. The paper highlights the effectiveness of a flexible methodological framework combining Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Learning, and elements of the Lexical Approach. Emphasis is placed on simplified classroom language, visual scaffolding, predictable lesson structure, cooperative learning, and formative assessment. Cultural sensitivity, positive reinforcement, and interdisciplinary cooperation between English teachers, Czech language instructors, teaching assistants, and parents are identified as key factors for successful educational outcomes. In conclusion, teaching English to foreign pupils in primary schools of the Karlovy Vary Region requires a learner-centered, inclusive, and culturally responsive methodology. Such an approach not only enhances English language competence but also promotes social integration, educational equity, and long-term academic development within the Czech educational system.
